Pan Jun Park

Jun Park, Ph. D. is R&D Manager at MilliporeSigma, the life science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. Jun studied Biomaterials and Immunology at University of Toronto and conducted his postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School investigating small molecule regulators of beta integrins. Since joining MilliporeSigma in 2006, his primary works have focused on the novel detection technologies and cell based assays.

Pan Timo Bastian Ottenstein

Timo Ottenstein joined STRATEC SE in 2017 as Specialist Optical Engineer. He studied physics, performed his doctorate with focus on laser manipulation of cold atoms at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg and has more than ten years of experience in the design of optical system for medical and other applications.

Plan wydarzenia

Molecular and cellular analytics are essential to modern clinical diagnostics and pivotal to patient management. The engineering and development of reliable, robust and functional systems require highly precise readout systems that are still primarily guided by light microscopy of different setups. However, the interface between the consumable that contains the biological sample of interest and the according instrumentation that allows a readout thereof is highly essential and massively underrated. In this webinar, STRATEC will rise awareness, discuss the challenges of the interplay between custom-designed cartridges and the according analytical systems. Successful implementations of design and engineering work will be shown based on realized examples at hand.
